Happy New Year
Well fab start to New Year - we were in Lockerbie! Not only great to be there but to spend it surrounded by our closest family including my gorgeous, nearly 2 year old, nephew. Can't wait to live there and certainly didn't want to come back to Preston today.

Cannot believe I have not been updating this! But at least I have suceeded in completing some of my tasks!
15. Give gifts without any reason
I have sent small gifts to children on Post Pals throughout 2010 and will continue to do this in the New Year.
16. Give flowers to someone just because.
Completed this but another I will continue to do.
17. Reply/write 10 posts for each forum I am a member of every month.
I have done this but will carry on otherwise I never end up contributing to them.
31. Visit Beatrix Potter museum.
Well after years of wanting to I finally went in September and it was well worth the wait. In fact I can't wait to go back!
32. Go on the ferry across Windermere
Managed this too during our stay in September.
52. Get stairs and landing decorated.
53. Get new carpets for bedroom and stairs.

Wow it's ages since I updated my blog but I have been doing some of my projects. I have got very passionate about supporting the charity Post Pals which sends post to poorly children and their siblings. I sent parcels to 2 children in January for the most depressing day of the year and I am about to send 2 children books for National Book Day on 4th March. I have also sent parcels and cards to other children.

Work is going well and I feel like I know what I'm doing now. I even got my business cards this week so feel very professional!
This time last week I'd not long arrived in York where we had a lovely few days with my Mum and step-dad. As usual with city breaks it was exhausting and one night I was asleep for 9pm but worth it.

Happy New Year!!!
2009 was a fab year which will be hard to beat but as we're already on a role for changing our lives then bring on 2010.
New Year was spent in Lockerbie - where we want to be living ASAP and by chance have seen an exciting property giving us something to seriously think about!

2009 is nearly over....
Well I haven't updated on here for ages but have managed to get some tasks completed or at least started.
Family is going to be a very important part of 2010 because after living miles away from my Mum for the last 8 years we WILL be moving to Scotland to be near her. If for some reason the house doesn't sell then we'll have to rent it out, there is no way I'm ending 2010 in Preston.
So the important tasks in the following months are to see Mum as much as possible, spend time with my gorgeous nephew Alex and keep in contact with my Aunty Maureen.
Happy New Year everyone!

I have just realised that thanks to my Mum getting me presents off my wish list I have items to help me complete the tasks.
9. I got a set of 3 baking tins, 2 cooling trays and a cake tester so no excuse now I have the tools!
13 & 14. Mum bought me some postcards and a writing set so got to get cracking with my post now.
